We have four active classes in our Sunday school, with children ages 1-8. Classes take place during the Ukrainian service every Sunday except on communion Sundays and holidays.

The goal of Sunday school is to help the Church raise up the next generation on the foundation of Christian values.

Sunday school is a process of studying the Bible. Teachers, in an interesting and age-appropriate way, tell the children Bible stories. Through Biblical characters, we show how we can apply the Biblical principles in real life.

Each lesson consists of: a review, a new story, hands-on craft, a game, and singing. Each Sunday, children memorize one Bible verse, and are, of course, incentivized in various ways. During each lesson students can earn points to use at the end of the year Games during the lesson are not just for fun; they help to review truths taught during the lesson. Singing is also an essential way to confirm these truths.

Goals of Sunday school:
-Tell children about God and Jesus in as interesting and understandable way as possible
-Instill in children feelings of love, mutual help, and respect toward parents and friends
-Help children understand difference between good and evil
-Teach children to battle obstacles in life through prayer
