Statement of Faith

We consider the Bible as the ultimate authority in all matters of faith and practical life. We acknowledge the Nicene–Constantinopolitan Creed. The following statement of faith is our common interpretation of the basic Biblical doctrines:

  • We believe that the 66 canonical books of the Holy Scripture (the Old and the New Testaments) are inspired and the infallible Word of God, which is the ultimate authority in the life of every believer (Joshua 1:8; 2 Peter 1:19-21; 2 Timothy 3:16-17).

  • We believe in one everlasting God, Maker of all things visible and invisible, Who exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:21-22;
    1 Corinthians 12:4-6; 2 Corinthians 13:13; 1 Peter 1:2).

  • We believe Jesus Christ is the everlasting Son of God, Who was incarnated by the Holy Spirit and of the Virgin Mary, and was made man (John 1:1-5, 14-15;
    Romans 1:3-4; Philippians 2:5-11).

  • We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Holy Trinity, Who is equal to the Father and the Son. No holy and godly life of a believer is possible without the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives the power to preach the Gospel (John 4:24; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 3:16).

  • We believe man was created in the image and likeness of God. Man fell into sin by disobeying God and inherited both physical and spiritual death, which is separation from God. Due to the fall, all people are born with a sinful nature (Genesis 1:26-30; Romans 1:18-32).

  • We believe the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures and that whoever believes in Him and repents of their own sins, receives forgiveness and justification by His shed blood (John 3:16; Acts 4:10-12).

  • We believe Jesus Christ rose again and ascended bodily into the Glory of the Father and now intercedes for believers before the Heavenly Father (Acts 1:9-11, 7:56;
    1 Timothy 2:5-6).

  • We believe Jesus Christ Messiah will return to the earth for His Bride-Church in the glorified body (Acts 1:11; Revelation 1:7).

  • We believe that whoever receives, by faith, Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and sincerely repents of their own sin has been born from above by the Holy Spirit and thereby, becomes a child of God and an heir of eternal life (Acts 16:30-31;
    1 John 5:10-13).

  • We believe in the physical resurrection from the dead of all righteous and unrighteous. Righteous – for the eternal and blessed life with God in paradise, and unrighteous – for eternal suffering in hell (2 Corinthians 5:10; Matthew 25:31-46; John 5:25-29).

  • We believe Satan exists, and he opposes God and ruins human souls. We believe the Lake of Fire is prepared for him, his demons and everyone who rejects Jesus Christ as their personal Savior; they will find their eternal perdition there (1 Peter 5:8-9; Revelation 20:10-15).

  • We believe in the Church-Bride of Jesus Christ, whose ultimate mission is to preach the Gospel (Ephesians 1:22-23; 2 Corinthians 11:2; Mathew 29:18-20).
